old door

this is one of my very favorite projects of all times. the old was picked at the flea market. the  6 panels were rotted out, it was easy to remove the sections that were damaged. we then cut up several vegetable crates. making many strips of the wood from the crates we then inserted them into the sections were the panels were. the solid piece of wood is plywood and that was painted out with chalkboard paint. the legs were found at an estate sale. the table top/desk top was picked from the trash. the glass and wood handles were from my stash of goodies as was the door handle plate. i painted the entire hall tree/coat rack with chalk paint and gave it a coat of wax. i love this piece. one of several projects my friend joe & i have done over the past year. thanks joe!!!

FALL

 still here. every once in a blue moon i create. here are a few items  i finished today. the burlap banner was quick and easy. i used my computer screen. i placed the burlap over the screen and traced/painted each letter. fun!
