PEACEFUL TRANSITIONS

i'd like to introduce my daughter, susan. she has started up her blog with the hope of offering services for those tying to live a healthier life style. she has her master's in holistic health, and her undergraduate in psychology. susan and charlie were married in november 2011 while charlie was still in the marines. they have started their life together in greenville, sc. charlie has finished his service time and is now attending college. susan is trying to start her career in the field of alternative health care. please stop by her blog and say hi!!! she would love to chat and extend a friendly word of advice.

i am slowly getting my creative edge back. it's been a very long time. but it's happening. in between my school schedule and work.

i  have found a few minutes here and there. a few minutes to create. a few minutes to take pictures. a few minutes to post here and maybe even get to posting on etsy. happy spring!!

while on a day trip this past summer i stopped at a barn sale in pennsylvania. ohhh so many goodies were stashed away in that barn. if i only had that truck i've been dreaming of. at the time i was not looking to aquire any more "things". i did pick up this light fixture and a few smalls. i cleaned the layers of "stuff" off and pulled out the wires, the type covered in cloth. i'm guessing this is from the 20's or 30's. i loved how it cleaned up. all chippy'tique, it's new life shall be a candle holder. and it's being offered on my etsy.
